ANZAC Day Commemorations 2016

Bribie Island State School has a very proud tradition of commemorating ANZAC Day with a school ceremony and strong attendance at the ANZAC March.

All students, parents and BISS community members are invited to attend either one or all of the ceremonies to mark the important occasion.

Friday, 22nd April

We will be holding an ANZAC Assembly at Bribie Island State School at 2pm in our school hall to commemorate ANZAC day.

Monday, 25th April

Bribie Island State School students and staff are invited to represent our school in the ANZAC March on Monday, 25th April.  Parents are also welcome to participate.

Students will meet at the park next to the Seaside Museum and will be marching to the RSL.  Students will need to attend wearing full school uniform including their hat and also a water bottle.  Upon arrival please see Ms Menzies to register your attendance.

BISS will also have representation at the Dawn Service at Woorim.  Students attending should assemble next to the Bribie Island Surf Club at 4.10am.
