BISS wins P and C of the Year!

16/09/2015
A proud and well deserved moment for our P and C

Bribie Island State School has been recognised yet again for excellence, this time being awarded with the North Coast Region P and C of the Year Award.

Our P and C at Bribie Island State School works tirelessly to raise funds for facilities, grounds and resources, support at-risk students, deliver community and school events and contribute actively to developing and delivering school-wide policies and procedures. The P and C work closely with Principal Mr Paul Pickering and their hard work has certainly paid off.

Bribie Island State School's P and C actively engage and include the wider community in their activities and fundraising events, creating mutually beneficial relationships. The Bribie Island State School P and C actively networks with other P and Cs in the region, sharing knowledge and information, working collaboratively to create the best possible opportunities for students in the state school system. The current P and C executive team comprise Mr Brendan Smith, President; Mrs Marcia Walsh, Vice-President; Ms Mary Turner, Vice-President; Ms Vanessa Collins, Secretary and Mrs Carolyn Ephraims, Treasurer.
