Opened in 1924 as the first school on the Island, Bribie Island State School has a long and proud tradition of providing quality learning experiences to primary school children from Bribie Island and surrounding areas.
Our student enrolments are approximately 660 and we offer an inclusive curriculum from prep to year 6.
Extensive Early Years programs, focussing on Gross and Fine Motor Skills, Oral Literacy and Learning to Read and our regionally recognised Soar Into Bribie program for pre-prep students are on offer.
Bribie Island State School provides an engaging Enrichment program for all students each term as our commitment to providing all students with an enriched education.
All students enjoy specialist Music and Physical Education lessons on a weekly basis, Cultural Studies for Years 1-4 and Languages other than English (LOTE) Indonesian is taught in Years 5 and 6.
Extra-curricular opportunities are on offer such as Gavel Club, Choir, Active After School programs, sporting opportunities and cheerleading.
